Highway Network Referencing

As part of an ongoing service, we are able to devise, construct and maintain your highway network referencing system enabling both accurate and cost effective use of machine based surveys and detailed visual inspections. The network referencing may be used in conjunction with your pavement management system and subsequently used to monitor the performance of your network.

By using an accurate network referencing system it is possible to obtain and compare results from successive years of monitoring the highway using the various available systems, such as Deflectograph, SCRIM and Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD).

Data obtained during these surveys can also be digitised and subsequently presented in a format suitable for display using MapInfo etc.

It is also possible for us to reference the location of carriageway cores, trial holes and results from traffic flow studies into the same system in order to provide a common base for the storage and retrieval of data.
